Donald C. McCleary Excellence in Member Development Award

The Donald C. McCleary Excellence in Member Development Award recognizes a chapter’s development program that emphasizes Sound Mind and Sound Body programming, continuous four-year development, service learning and servant leadership.

Criteria are based on the undergraduate four-year member development program and an application with programming examples. Also, the chapter must meet or exceed all university averages for GPA and retention. The award, an acrylic diamond on a base, is presented at the Carlson Leadership Academies in February and honors Past Grand President and Order of the Golden Heart recipient Donald C. McCleary, Texas-Austin ‘71.
