Sigma Phi Epsilon often establishes task forces and committees to work on special projects or support ongoing initiatives of the Fraternity. These task forces and committees are made up predominantly of alumni-volunteers, and many include undergraduate representatives as well. Each group has a chairperson appointed, as well as a liaison on the National Board of Directors. Task forces and committees do not serve for any uniform amount of time.

Branding Task Force

The Branding Task Force is considering and recommending a brand system and brand guidelines that create alignment across Sigma Phi Epsilon and captures the values, cause, and benefits of the Fraternity, Educational Foundation, and SigEp National Housing.
District Governor Task Force

The District Governor Task Force is developing tactics to implement the volunteer objectives in the Fraternity's strategic plan regarding District Governors, and consider other issued raised by the District Governor.
Equity Management Fund Task Force

The Equity Management Fund Task Force is considering and recommending the best way to promote the equity management fund administered by Sig Ep National Housing (SENH).
Governance Task Force

The Governance Task Force is reviewing and recommending changes to the Fraternity’s articles, bylaws and policies in keeping with the governance policy adopted by the National Board of Directors at the 2011 Grand Chapter Conclave.
National Philanthropy Task Force

The National Philanthropy Task Force is developing and submitting a proposal that defines the value, or lack of value, in a single or multiple philanthropic partnerships, and recommending a set of criteria to reference when evaluating a potential philanthropic partnership and identifying and recommending the organizations with which the Fraternity should partner.
Ritual Task Force

The Ritual Task Force is considering and recommending any changes to the Ritual.
Residential Learning Community Task Force

The Residential Learning Community Task Force is collaborating with the Fraternity’s staff to increase awareness, understanding and quality implementation of the Residential Learning Community Program.
Technology Task Force

The Technology Task Force is considering how undergrads and AVCs can use technology to achieve their missions, including, but not limited to, housing, property control and management, finances, communications, member information, recruiting and mentoring undergraduates.
Volunteer Task Force

The Volunteer Task Force is developing and submitting a written proposal addressing volunteer recruitment, education, recognition and other objectives in the strategic plan.
Audit Committee

The Audit Committee directs the Fraternity’s audit, reviews and evaluates the audit, and provides comments on the audit, auditor, management and operation.
Investment Committee

The Investment Committee is responsible for establishing a policy and strategy for protecting and growing SigEp's investment portfolio, made up of the Chapter Investment Fund and Journal Fund.
