SigEp studies in Antarctica

Corey Allard, Northeastern ’12, has returned from Antarctica and is preparing to publish his findings. He said that his time studying the world’s most isolated continent has confirmed what he had thought, that climate change will alter the rate of development of the fish that live down there. And that change is coming quickly.

Now that Northeastern’s first student ever to study in Antarctica has returned to campus, he is focused on finishing his research and finding the right graduate school program. Allard will continue his education and pursue a Ph. D. in evolutionary biology.
