The recruitment mentor is charged with mentoring the undergraduate vice president of recruitment, to ensure that the chapter recruits men of both a quantity and quality to sustain and grow the chapter without sacrificing membership standards. With a strong mentoring relationship, the undergraduate vice president of recruitment is more likely to succeed in his goals in the position.

A great recruitment mentor has experience in sales or marketing, understands and is committed to mentoring and teaching those skills to up-and-coming leaders in the chapter. Typically, a recruitment mentor will devote four hours per month to work with the vice president of recruitment and his committee.
