Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity

The Lifetime Responsibility of Brotherhood

The Lifetime Responsibility of Brotherhood is a book that all brothers receive when they join Sigma Phi Epsilon, and many keep on their bookshelves long after they graduate.

The book serves as a history of SigEp, from our founding in 1901 to the present day, and even where we’re heading in the future.  It also serves as a guide for how to build the best chapter and live your best life.

The 2011 version has been updated and revised.  In it you can find the stories many of us already know—the story of our founding, the history of our Ritual and symbols and how we expanded from one campus to 240.  You can also expect to learn something new—about our founding fathers, etiquette or masculinity.

Much of the book also focuses on living your best life, based on balance and our cardinal principles.  The book has tips on study habits, eating healthy and tackling ethical decisions.  SigEps of all ages can get something valuable from the book.  Start reading the new version today.
