Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity

President

The chapter president is responsible for leading his brothers and managing the operations of the chapter.  He is the face of the Fraternity to the chapter, the Greek community and the university.  The chapter president must lead by example at all times.

The top priorities of the chapter president are to:

  • Lead the executive board.
  • Facilitate weekly executive board and chapter meetings.
  • Set and work to achieve SMART goals (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and timely).
  • Ensure chapter operations align with local and Grand Chapter bylaws.
  • Coordinate with alumni-volunteers and the university’s office of Greek life.

A great chapter president must be more than a mature leader.  He is also an effective communicator, with the ability to delegate and resolve conflict quickly.  The chapter president leads the executive board and works closely with alumni, volunteers, university officials and regional directors.

People that will assist or support the chapter president are:

  • AVC members
    • Chapter counselor
    • AVC president
