The Residential Learning Community (RLC) chairman is responsible for implementing the concepts and ideals of the Residential Learning Community program at his chapter. He works with chapter leaders, alumni-volunteers, and campus faculty and academic professionals to foster a living-learning environment for all members of the chapter. The RLC chairman is appointed by the vice president of member development.

A great RLC Chairman can communicate the ideals and critical elements of the Residential Learning Community model to potential new members, brothers, alumni, volunteers and parents. He will also develop key partnerships with faculty and staff to advance the RLC experience and garner additional support and guidance.
